About Us

Andres Amil is an A&P and AI with over 30 years of experience maintaining general aviation aircraft. From annuals, to repairs , routine maintenance, and modifications, Andres provides meticulous, but efficient service, support and advice.

Andres was born and raised in the Philippines with a fascination for mechanical objects. Taking stuff apart, putting it back together, testing it, improving it…. that’s all Andres wanted to do as a kid. He followed his passion and got a University Degree (BA) in Aircraft Engineering and subsequently his Airframe and Powerplant License and Inspection Authorization. His early maintenance and engineering experience started in the Air Force and subsequently, working for Philippine Airlines. In 1996, Andres moved to the US and spent the next 15 years working as a line mechanic and ultimately, shop manager, for Ace Aviation, EMC Aviation, Above and Beyond and Sterling Aviation. In 2011 Andres wanted to focus entirely on owner flown General Aviation Aircraft, so he went independent with the founding of Aircraft Unlimited, and has not looked back since. Andres also holds his Private Pilots License, with Instrument and Commercial Ratings.

Andres will do everything end to end, but also believes owners should get as deeply involved in their aircraft’s health, as they want to. So owner assisted annuals, coaching and mentoring owners, is a unique element of the kind of partnership Andres supports with his clients.
